I know this is long overdue.. BUTTTTT....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second day in Perth (19/3):
Woke up pretty late in the morning around 8am. Felt really tired since I didn't really sleep much the previous night due to aclimatisation issues. The weather's pretty much like turning on your air-con at full blast at night and Singapore style in the morning and afternoon(if you're in the sun).
Anyways, we left our apartment at malcom street for fremantle prison in, well, fremantle. lols!
Here's a look at the prison building from beyond the gates:
Since photography is not allowed in the tunnels, I've got no photos to show you. haha.. You've gotta experience it yourself. It's a pretty cool trip down there, though it can get rather physically streneous.
Here's us at the end of the whole "adventure", looking all tired and very much worked out:

Here's our dearest boots that kept our feet clean and dry:

Inside Fremantle prison:

So, this marks the end of our little adventure to fremantle prison's tunnels "tour"...

Thereafer, we travelled down to the area near the sea (or bay) which I've totally no idea where's that. haha.. Fish 'n' chips by one of the restaurants there.
*Random fact: Guess what? Some people like their cars to be called "DRMAQUEEN" (sic) LOL!

Lunch was really nice. Fresh fish 'n' chips, served hot. Great! Managed to try out shark meat there as well. haha.. It's kinda weird. haha.. It seems like exotic meat don't always taste as exotic as the live animal is. haha..
Anyways, if you haven't tried it out before, it's something like a hybrid between chicken and fish. haha.. Like, uhh, chicken with fish texture. haha!! Not exactly nice :/
After that, we went for a walk down the jetty area. Rather, ships area. haha..
Now, if only I could turn my head 180º...

After that, we headed down to an oyster bar at Mosman bay. The oysters there are.. Simply brilliant! :D Fresh and yummy. Has the taste of the sea. xD
Saw a couple of seagulls perched by the jetty there. Beautiful place.

This is a really cute photo of one of e seagulls. haha.. Makes me smile when I look at it. Seems to say "G'day mate!" haha!!

The sheltered path to the jetty. Love the symmetry.

After our oyster feast, we went back to rest and prepare for my cousin's convocation which was that night. It was the sole and main reason why we're all in Perth.
Well, since I didn't have a seat inside the hall to witness it, I waited outside for it to finish. haha.. So, instead of stoning there for 2 hours, I decided to walk around the campus to do a bit of shooting. haha..

This is how UWA (rather, one of the buildings. Forgot what is this one called though) looks like at night. Pretty heh? If only NUS/NTU looks so vintage and retro.. hehe..

My mum, my cousin, me:

That pretty much marks the end of the second day. haha.. It was a long day. Tired and exhausted. haha.. Getting used to the dry and cool weather. Lovely. :D
