There's about another 50 days more before Chirstmas is here. I dunno why but, I was just randomly thinking of Christmas this afternoon. Rather, dreaming of it in my nap. L0L..Many people see Christmas as just another festival for a good holiday. (though we might not see it this way now, 'cause we're still students, we'll see it soon enough.) These days, many people have come to know of the story of Chirstmas, knowing that 2000 odd years ago, Christ was born. Savior of mankind. That being said, it is STILL a very commercialized festival. Gifts. People spending billions in total just buying gifts for their relatives and friends on this day. But, have they ever wondered, what is the true spirit of Christmas? It is one of.. Faith. Hope. Love. "The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see" Hebrews 11:1 "May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 "This is the kind of love we are talking about-not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God." 1 John 4:10 LOST at Sunday, November 04, 2007 |
