There's been alot of events happening for the past few days.. Consecutive days.. Many things happening.. Don't have time to blog.. Not enough time to sleep anyways.. So many things happened in the past 2days, that I didn't realise it was just in 2 days that everything has happened.. It's just those times when you've been through so much, you don't realise so little time has passed..So, let's just fast-forward to the Open House today.. Horrible day today.. Totally down on my luck, if I'd put it this way.. Today, airn't a good day. Seriously isn't a good one.. To begin the day, it isn't the least good to wake up late, overslept on the most important day of the college life.. Rather, ONE of the most important day. VJC's open house. Woke up in bed, and looked out of the window with my sheepish eyes.. And guess wad? The sun's UP!! Wahh!! Need to reach school at 8, and waking up, seeing the Sun as the first thing isn't a good sign. Turned on my phone to check wad the bloody time issit now.. IT WAS 8:25!! WTH!! Siao!! Panic already.. Panic.. Seriously damn panic.. After getting a quick shower, just toook my camera bag and got outta e house at first possible opportunity.. Totally forgot to take e rechargable batteries with me.. Sianz.. Went down 2 take a cab to school.. Cos, if I din, I'd be just in time for the Opening Ceremony of the Open House. And, it doesn't fit well into my position as the photographer for this event.. Yea.. Waited at the main road for a taxi.. Bloody hell.. There was 2 blooody clowns that were in front of me.. But they came later than me.. I was totally pissed off.. Then, another cab took a u-turn and picked up the passenger down the road.. Ohkay la.. It was quite fair.. That person was there earlier than me.. So, yeah.. Then missed 2 cabs, cos they were like speeding la.. Can't stop in time then blame me.. >< Arrghh.. Irritated at this point already.. Then, it dawned on me, I forgot to take the batteries that I was charging.. Darn! >.< Arrived in school at about 9:15.. Cost of taking the taxi? $7.60 Cost of helping out my CCA mates? Priceless. Anyways, so much for arriving there an hour late.. Got down to business quickly.. Helped sort out most of the stuffs that needed to be covered today.. After that, go through my equipment, making sure that all I need are indeed in the bag.. Cos, the night before, I kinda packed my bag half awake (being optimistic here.. ) Everything's in there, checked. "Opening ceremony in 5 minutes." E last thing I heard before I went into full mode, prepared to shoot. Chucked the remaining breakfast I had into the rubbish bin.. Went to the car porch to start shooting.. Start my duty.. :)) Was shooting halfway, then realised my light metering isn't working!! Wahhh!! Now seriously damn panic already!! If my metering isn't working, my shots are going 2 be damn screwed! Wahh!! My exposure isn't that good.. And I totally panicked.. Forgotten about rules like Sunny-16.. Geez.. >< Why?! Grrrr.. Went to change the body with the people at the booth.. Got a 20D for the 400D. They used the 400D for printing instead.. hahaz.. At least it had some use.. Quite thankful to have the 20D.. Thank Ms Goh for having sent it to remove dust, so that the pictures taken today are dust free.. :)) So, shot a large proportion of today's open house with the 20D instead of my usual body.. haiz.. I need 2 send it for checking.. Not quite up to it already.. Everything went roughly according to the plan.. Pictures shall do the talking.. Shall post some of the photos up soon.. But, it's not convient for me to talk.. Yeah.. So.. *ahem.. Hope for the best. Sometimes, good intentions backfire. Like what I usually tell people, don't try too hard.
