31st August 2007.It's been a really long day.. Though each individual day is 24 hours long, do we really make use of the entire 24hours that we have? Short days are when more than half of the time is spent stoning, or doing something that is totally unproductive.. Long days mah... Well, every moment is spent doing something that's worth doing.. Like, busy.. busy... Starting from the beginning of today, already knew today was due to be a long day.. A really long one indeed.. Left home earlier than usual @ 6.20am.. In order to reach school before my CCA teacher arrives, had to sacrifice alil bit of stoning time.. As usual, slept all the way to school.. Quite interesting actually, popping the thingy at her.. (: Happy Teachers' Day Ms Goh! (: After getting the equipment and everything, got to the hall to prepare for the event shoot.. It was pretty cool, having front row seats, getting into the middle of everything, shooting away.. Manz, just like a couple of weeks never shoot events already, then become so inefficient already.. Hand tired easily.. Then, everything done so slowly.. Change lens, uncapping, aiming the camera, etc. Became really slow.. Sighz.. It was horrible lighting in the hall.. And was shooting with 3 other photographers.. 2 with greater experience than me, and one.. Just his imba camera.. LOL.. Luckily the concert didn't last very long, and there's quite a large amount of time used in showing 2 videos that were jointly produced by iComm and House Comm.. Yeah.. Pretty much all the things in VJ.. After the concert, went back to VS to look for teachers as well as to see old classmates. Old friends.. (Though I'm saying "old", we've only left VS for a year or less only.. So, in relative terms, not really that "old" la.. Hahaz..) Waited for about half an hour before the concert @ VS ended and got e chance to speak to the teachers.. It's been a long while.. Quite some time already.. Really missed 'em quite abit.. After 4H/2006 meet up, we couldn't decide on what to do.. Initially we wanted to play soccer (usual thing we always do when we meet up), but after dilly dallying for a while, we decided not to do anything that'd be sweaty.. The weather was really hot at that time.. (Oh, btw, VJ teachers also went back to VS for lunch.. It's those lidda get-togethers for the Victorian family.. For the teaching saff.. So, wished our teachers a "Happy Teachers' Day" while we didn't have e chance over @ VJC.. Hahaz.. What an irony.. Lols..) Oh well, after sitting down, stoning for like another half an hour or so, we've came to a conclusion to watch a movie.. Since I'm going to watch a movie with my primary friends, I had to make my move already, if they were going to watch a movie together.. Oh well.. Had to part afterall.. Went back to my primary school.. The school that basically shaped who I am today. The person you know now. It was pretty sweet going back to a place that holds soo much memories.. Sweet memories.. Wonderful times we spent together.. Movie: Ratatouille Verdict: A relatively funny and interesting show to watch. Perhaps it might be the high critic marks it got that raised my expectations of the animated movie..It's really touching in the part where you see all the rats in the colony helping out with the cooking and preparation of the food.. Overall, it's either a show that you like or you find that it doesn't make sense at all. On the whole, I think it is rather deserving of the 5 stars that were given to it. Personally, I'd put it at 4/5. Minus 1 mark for the front part which is rather dull and monotonous. Favourite phase: Anyone can cook! (Though that remains to be seen.. Personally, anyone can cook, yes, but not everyone can cook WELL.. Hahaz.. ) After watching the movie, went off to Comex 2007. It was rather empty compared to the other IT shows I've been to in the past 2 terms.. Empty.. few few people.. Way too few people for an IT show.. I think, people have prolly gotten too tired of these shows.. Once every 3 months.. Is rather common.. People have become used to it already. Their mentality: "If I miss this fair, there's another one in 3 months. So, no worries." Oh well.. Din buy any BIG ticket items.. Dunno why I went there as well.. Just walked around without any aims in mind.. Nothing seems to interest me too much.. It's just the usual stuff that they're trying to sell.. Sighz.. I think it's been a long day, a long post. I guess that's all.. I'm tired out.. Worn out.. September hols have finally arrived. Tmr will be the first day.. Technically, if I can put in 6 hours of hardcore mugging, I'd be able to finish syllabus for all subjects by the end of this 8 day holiday. Pray that nothing distracts me from this crucial time.
