Last day of the week's finally over... It's probably one of those more fun days in the past 3 orientation days. Totally without talks, playing all the way.. XDStarted off to consolidate e OG class member's knowing of one another. (There was where we found a crasher. lol.) Cant believe that I've played an Orientaion game, ONE onli, for 2 hours! Probably, as an OGL myself, I dun think any freshmen could be able to play sooo long on just one game. "This is the game of concentration" tsktsk.. Purposely lost afew times. But majority is because I was kinda distracted by the beat that accompanies this game. Haiz. Disadvantaged are those that can't really cope with beats and rhythms. (Like me) SO, kenna forfeited. Zzz... Did some Jack and Rose thingy with another gal and went -_-" all the way through out. Then, another one was to do a "play" on the "Bollywood" kinda stuff. Those coconuts and stuffs? Yep.. Sadly, I was an actor not the coconut tree.. :( So, danced around the two coconut trees like clowns. But, on the brightside, everything drew laughter from the class lor. So, I'd say, it's quite a successful gaming session by the OGLs. After that, we were divided back into our sub-house group. Then, we played a series of MASS captains ball. It was then that I realised that though my sub-house group was kinda quiet type, all are pros in sports lor. Most specialize in basketball. Surprised. And I reckon, they're all in the school team one. So, the other teams playing against us had nearly no chance. XD The Amazing Race soon came after that lor. We went round S'pore to do things and were to collect a "pass" to complete it. At first we were all hyped up about it. But, much to my disappointment, there wasn't much of a "race". I think that since it's not so closely related to the amazing race, they should have called it a different name instead. Sighz.. At the "pit-stop", we went one round about the animal farm and then walked out to the main road to take bus home... In all, spent like 6 hours walking, travelling. And in the end, it airn't that Amazing afterall. BUT, it really takes alot of effort to oraganise this, with all the logistics involved. If there was an element of race included, it'd probably ended on a high note. Also, there should have been better activities at the checkpoints. To end off, I think this orientation should be going on the right track. With things being more and more fun and interesting, I think I might well get used to it. hahaz... Look forward to next week when we're posted to our permenant classes. And studying as well as CCAs. Photography, here I come... XD LOST at Friday, January 05, 2007 |
