Finally, I'm back from OBS... So happy... Feels like some accomplishment that i survived OBS... Now, after 5days withOUT technology at all, it's rather unpleasant to be typing V V long... But this will be SUPER long to include all the 5 fun-filled days...
Day 1: First day of OBS... Everyone were like strangers... And from the pic of my watch ( a watch is a group in OBS ), It's quite clear that everyone was much closer to their school than mixing together as one... Look below for e pic...
 OBS 'watch' COOK
Of course during the first day of e camp, there'd be ice-breaking games, to allow e participants to gain trust and be friendly to one another... Yar and that's it... Pretty much of e morning was spent waiting for everyone to be together and to inspect the stall that they've provided us with... After that was to collect our rations for 5days... Wad we'll be eating for the nxt 5days. And also to learn that the water there was heavily clorinated... If you havent been there, a good example of the water condition there would be imagine drinking water from the swimming pool... Well, till now, i still carn get used to it... I realli dun like e taste of water there... Any i can tolerate but not the taste of water there... It's be okay if it was cold but most of e time, it's not...
Okay after that was lunch... Yay... First lunch in OBS... ;) ... Bread wif a little biskets... Lunch... ;P Fine with me... Quite filling, suprisingly... And after lunch it was all the way to belaying... I wasn't at all distressed as I would back in P5... During then, i was soooooo afraid that i din even do any of e high elements lorx... Mayb that's why i made myself open to camps.. So as to break out of this fear... And i did... First CIC, now this... It was a low belay station... No prob... Then, e instructor asked for volunteers... ( Btw, my watch's instructor is Chiew Ling ) So, nobody wanted to go up lorx... So, i volunteered... The gals were like... WOW... so 'brave' ... Wonder y they dun trust e equipment... I became e climber... And my gd friends, Zai and Jarren were e Asst. belayer and anchor man... And off i go to climb.. Cheiw Ling was my belayer... And then, off i went... ( E commands fer belaying were sumwhat different from those @ CIC... ) And i climbed all e way to e top... Then stop fer e others to awe.. lol... And then when e instructor let me down, it's like okay... I'm coming down.. I've no worries cos i've been thru' this alot of times already... Then it was e same thru'out e rest of e afternoon.. And I was like complaining abt e SUPER clorinated water... And then, later in e day, around evening, after everyone had completed e belay, it's time 2 bathe... :P ( Btw, i forgt to mention i met marcus in e camp.. From Pri sch,.. Now in AHS.. I waved 2 e wrong person.. lol... Looked so alike... Anyway, we saw each other and knew it but din talk.. Couldn't find e chance.. ) After bathing, we went to pitch our tent.. e campsite was like 4 storeys higher than e base camp...
... to be continued...
( note: getting tired today... Will share tmr... byz... )
