Went on a geography field trip to M'sia frm 29th to 31 May...Itz kinda like a "if u wan 2 go den go" ... kinda stuff... So, i thought "y not?" So, off i went... First day: - Went straight after leaving the customs to FRIM( Forest Research Institute Malaysia). - Was very frustrated by the camera 'cos outta battery... And there was no charger??!!!! 2 charge it AT ALL!!! - Unable to do the anticipated 'canopy' walk.... 'cos it had been raining heavily... *dam... - Had a long intro given by e person there... Den went to the museum to look @ e exhibits... - Departed @ about 4.30pm ... Off to KL.... - Stopped half way to do some "shopping" in the local supermart... - After that went off to our hotel.... :P - But once again.. stopped in the middle of our journey... y? Outta gas... -on the side note: interestingly, pple who'd done e "shopping", went outta e bus... half 2 piss.. e other half 2 look @ what e patrol minimart had 2 sell.... lol.... - Upon arrival @ the 4-star hotel, e sign outside attracted many of the pple... "Sunday: BBQ" WOW... BBQ buffet for dinner... haha.... - After we checked in, discovered that our room was on the 22nd floor.... - Went to take a shower after entering... The room was SOOO COLD... SOOO COLD that the water even CONDENSED on the outside of our window!!! And it was already 6pm!!! - At 7pm, all of us went down for dinner... Den, we had 2 stay there till 9.30pm!!!! 2.5hrs?!!!! - So, we started eating VERY slowly... cos we carnt leave the cafe... We ended up eating and eating... 'though some sneaked back to their rooms.... Whereas others like me, stayed in the cafe... Often at times walking to the fruits/cakes sections, taking quite a huge portion.. and finishing 'em... den to the ice-cream section.... den to the ice kachang.... sigh.. it's a long wait till 9.30... so, eating and eating... all we could to kill time... and probably gain weight... (like me.. onli 43kgs... ) So much for the first day of the field trip... LOST at Wednesday, June 01, 2005 |
